Here Now is a new boutique contract furniture brand designed and manufactured in North Carolina. Born out of a desire to elevate domestic craftsmanship and creative collaboration in the contract furniture industry, Here Now is locally rooted in a broad worldview. Blurring the lines between varying design disciplines, Here Now offers architects, interior designers and workplace solutions providers a fresh perspective. Aesthetically minded and function focused, Here Now creates for the unique needs of today’s shared spaces and the people they serve. As a designer led brand, each piece in the collection examines the everchanging landscape of office and hospitality interiors.

Founding Story
Fresh off the 2020 sale of his successful California based lifestyle and functional accessory brand, Most Modest, award winning industrial designer Justin Champaign (@jchampaign) returned to North Carolina to build a new commercial furniture company focused on elevating domestic craftsmanship and creative collaboration. A brand born during the pandemic—a time that revealed an opportunity for change in the contract furniture industry—Justin tapped Derrick Hurst, a prolific industrial designer and engineer, to co-found Here Now and do things differently. With a successful track record of engaging industrial design and inspiring new ways of playing in commercial and residential interiors, Here Now invites you to continue the creative journey together.
