Allseating will showcase its newest products, Eighty Two, Rühe, Innate, Res, and Attune, during this year’s NeoCon. Experience everything Allseating has to offer in the company’s “It’s Personal” showroom located at 325 N Wells Street, STE 210. In celebrating its 40th anniversary, Allseating is focusing on the roots from which the company was founded, and this year’s Neocon lineup reflects this renewed drive. With five new product collections from world-class designers, Allseating will demonstrate how its seating solutions work across more spaces than ever before.
Eighty Two: To pay homage to Allseating’s 40th anniversary, this task chair was envisioned by the company’s CEO and founder, Gary Neil, with the intention of celebrating the core values on which Allseating was built: stylish, intuitive, and affordable design. Eighty Two offers an array of customizable options, while also boasting a modern aesthetic that is astounding for its low cost. Eighty Two’s combination of intelligent design and cost-effective engineering has hit the market with an impeccable value statement, proving that innovative design should be accessible to everyone and that 40 years later, Allseating continues to uphold this mandate.
Rühe: Rühe is a minimalist, understated, multi-range series that suits a wide range of public settings, including hospitals, airports, corporate waiting areas, and educational environments. Imagined by industrial designer Mike Shields, the Rühe family comprises guest seating (single, double, and triple), patient seating (single, rocker, and easy access) as well as a lounge (single, double, and triple), tandem seating, and tables. Guest seating allows for the option of standard seat size, plus or love seat to accommodate a broader range of body types. Rühe’s soft and residential ambiance adds levity to any space, while its light-scale, modest design, and multiple seat sizes allow it to fit well with a variety of other products or environments. As calming and restful as its namesake, Rühe emphasizes user wellness while adding leisure and comfort to a wide range of settings.
Innate: Innate is a fully upholstered ergonomic task chair envisioned by industrial designer Todd Yetman for Allseating. Innate lives up to its namesake by providing intrinsic and integrated functionality for all-day comfort in small conference rooms, breakout spaces, and home offices. Featuring a proprietary, intuitive design that resonates with Yetman’s classic award-winning style, Innate was thoughtfully crafted to cradle the sit-bones so that the user stays relaxed and focused. Furthermore, Innate is equipped with an optimal headrest that supports the head and neck for hours at a computer. Innate is a fully upholstered task chair with no hard surfaces to create a uniquely comfortable experience. Innate adjusts to a wide range of body types through instinctive and easily accessible adjustments, which are hidden in its fully-integrated core.
Res: Brought to life by design studio, modus ID, Res is a seating solution that supports active learning through a thoughtful, modern aesthetic and variety of adaptable features. Res is a unique hybrid of design — combining elements of comfortable lounge seating with that of focused task seating to meet the needs of today’s modern student. More flexible and nimble seating options are required to augment the experience of active learning, in which students apply knowledge and problem solving in small group settings as opposed to traditional, lecture-based formats. Res features a large, 90-degree rotating tablet surface that can be added and specified to suit either left or right-handed work surface needs. Res also features a cup holder, a lower shelf to free the work surface of small items (such as phones, stationary, chargers, or drinks), and hooks for coats and bags.
Attune: Designed in collaboration with Aaron Duke’s firm Studio Black Box, Attune is a futuristic task seating solution that utilizes “materiality” to instantly adapt to all users’ body types while remaining durable and exceptionally resistant to impact and flex fatigue. Attune’s dynamic form exudes a lightness that expresses levity, mobility, and adaptability — all answering the call for collaborative, highly flexible, and intuitive task seating. The adaptable, lean, and light seating solution fits seamlessly into home or office environments while providing superior comfort and proper intuitive, ergonomic support. A highly comfortable and moldable plastic seat is also offered with an optional upholstered back seat or back pad. Two arm options are available on Attune, a loop conference arm and, later this year, a height-adjustable task arm.
Allseating’s NeoCon party will be back and better than ever on Monday, June 13th, from 3:00-6:00 PM CDT. Attendees can look forward to special guests, great music, and delicious food and beverages.
