Escea fireplaces work well in hospitality, corporate, multi-family, and residential settings
Escea’s gas fireplaces offer complete design freedom, with a zero-clearance rating, no need for grills, and venting that can run up, sideways, and even under the floor, making installation opportunities endless.
“The North American market is massive,” said Alex Cleveland, Escea’s North American manager. “But despite its size, while design trends have evolved, it’s remained stagnant for more than 15 years in terms of the technical side of fireplaces. And that’s where Escea comes in.”
Each fireplace model offers their own unique performance attributes, and they share many of the design attributes that set Escea’s offerings apart—the most important of which being they can be placed anywhere.
The innovation behind Escea's fireplaces provides designers the ultimate in flexibility
Single-sided gas fireplaces can be placed in multiple locations including under a window, within an external wall, an island, into a corner, or used as a room divider. See-through models have many of the same applications including bespoke cabinetry. Televisions or electronics can be either surface-mounted or recessed into the chase as low as 8 inches above the top of the glass viewing area. Escea’s innovative Powered Direct Vent technology allows for this freedom of installation with vertical, horizontal, and even under-floor venting configurations available.
Zero-Clearance technology allows customers to clad Escea fireplaces in a wide range of materials, from marble to even timber. “Traditionally, designers had to choose materials that could withstand heat,” Cleveland said. “There are very few limitations when it comes to choosing a surround material for our gas fireplaces—designers can go with one that blends into the space, or utilize bolder, unique materials that make a statement.” This results in an end product that is chic and minimalist.
Escea's KS55 Glass model
The KS55 Mesh Barrier (68 21/32” W x 39 1/4” H x 15 1/8” D) gets its name from its room-sealed glass window, finished with a subtle mesh screen. Here, all warmth is directed out the front. This also comes in a KS55 Glass Barrier edition with a double-layered glass window that not only gives a high-definition view of the flames but also features innovative heat ducting technology that allows the user to heat several rooms, evenly distributing the heat in the same room, or even outside.
Do the same with the larger, KS75 Glass Barrier (89 7/32” W x 42 29/32” H x 17 19/32” D) model that is truly impactful in its see-through version with a double-sided, flame-framed window visually connecting two spaces.
From the stepped-back media and flame finishing to the frameless look, every element is designed to enhance the space. It’s these finer details that make Escea fireplaces not just a source of heat but a design statement too.
