Consisting of two chairs and two sofas, The Infinity Collection is a collaboration between Jamie Stern and Rachael H. Grochowski, Founder and Principal of RHG A+D, to create seating that enhances connection, creativity and comfort.
“The inspiration behind The Infinity Collection is deeply rooted in my search for places, spaces and pieces that embody comfort, beauty and presence,” said Grochowski. “For this collection, I thought about how I want to feel when I land in a space: What puts me in the frame of mind to connect with others, be creative and feel free? This moved me to look at shapes and textures in nature as inspiration because nature is where I feel most at home.”
In addition to Grochowski, Jamie Stern has partnered with a number of prominent creatives to produce a series of designer-driven collections that blend singular visions with versatile applications. This latest venture began when Grochowski designed a set of custom chairs which Jamie Stern manufactured for her office’s reception area. The process provided clarity and specificity to her long-time dream of creating an upholstered furniture collection. She reached out to Jamie Stern to inquire about developing the designs as standard pieces. “When Jamie said ‘yes’ I was so excited to make a dream come true!”
