The Table Bench was presented as part of Børge Mogensen’s ‘building furniture concept’, where his philosophy was to design multifunctional and durable furniture that suits changing interior design needs. Carl Hansen & Son relaunched the Table Bench in 2020 in rattan and is now adding a new paper cord variant to the collection. The Table Bench is available in a long and short version, both of which can be combined with other pieces in the collection to build a longer bench, or function as independent pieces of furniture in the hallway, as a sideboard in the living room, or as a bedside table.
