Fräsch Introduces WÜD: Nature-Inspired Hardwood Prints on Acoustical PET Felt

Fräsch, a Catalyst Acoustics Group company specializing in innovative acoustical design and sustainable solutions, has launched another color expansion, adding 36 unique options to its impressive portfolio. The new collection, WÜD, introduces a range of popular hardwood grain patterns printed on five acoustical PET color bases. This innovative approach caters to a diverse range of interior design preferences and applications.

The WÜD collection features Birch, Oak, Mahogany, Maple, Walnut, Sapele, Ash, and a bespoke blend, “Rich Soil.” These patterns are printed on White, Cream, Ivory, Smokey Beige, or Silver PET color bases. The wood selections replicate natural wood grains to reflect the biophilic aesthetic of the actual materials. Layering the prints on different colors underneath helps vary the richness of the grains to enhance interior spaces with warmth and natural charm.

In addition to its visual appeal, WÜD delivers exceptional acoustical performance, a hallmark of Fräsch’s commitment to combining aesthetics with functionality. These selections are ideal for various architectural and interior design projects, seamlessly integrating into environments that demand style and noise mitigation.

“We are excited to introduce the WÜD collection, which merges the timeless beauty of hardwood grain with the advanced acoustical properties of PET panels,” said Slavka Nightingale, co-founder and VP of marketing at Fräsch. “Whether enhancing a workspace, hospitality venue, a public lounge—really any commercial interior—WÜD offers designers and architects a new option for creative freedom. The line combines the appearance of real wood with the acoustical performance of felt without the weight and ecological impact of using natural materials.”
