Designed by Annie Hiéronimus, the sofa embodies a unique approach to comfort and design, featuring soft curves that contrast with the straight lines typical of its time. Made entirely of foam, Sandra offers a gentle embrace, emphasizing the importance of comfort in furniture design. The reintroduced version maintains Hiéronimus’ vision while incorporating modern advancements in foam seating, such as multi-density foams for enhanced support, a built-in lumbar cushion, and a lightweight structure for easy mobility.
