TAKT has responded to the need for greater comfort and support in work seating. With this in mind, they are proud to introduce the latest addition to the Cross Collection - the Cross Task Chair, now with armrests.
Enhanced support and comfort
Designed by Pearson Lloyd, the Cross Task Chair was initially created as a lightweight and flexible work chair. Now, with the addition of armrests, it offers increased ergonomic support while maintaining its signature minimalist expression.
You can choose from the same variants as the Cross Task Chair without armrests: Black tube with Oak Matt lacquer and Black tube with Oak Black lacquer.
For this design, they also offer a selection of environmentally friendly and traceable upholstery options.
Seamless design
The armrests are carefully adapted to the chair's balanced proportions, ensuring they enhance rather than disrupt its refined geometry. From any angle, the chair's distinctive backrest remains clearly visible, highlighting its well-balanced composition.
At TAKT, they believe great design should be within reach. Cross Task Chair with armrests continues our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable furniture at a motivational price. By optimising materials, streamlining production, and adhering to our principles of circular design, we ensure that this new piece meets our standards for durability and affordability.
Designed for a long life
Crafted from eco-friendly materials, the Cross Task Chair embodies a perfect blend of intelligent design and everyday functionality. As with our other products the chair is designed for repair, meaning that components are replaceable and worn parts can be replaced.
About TAKT
Launched in Copenhagen in 2019, TAKT aims to reinvent the Scandinavian design tradition for the modern day by rethinking the way we design, build and sell furniture for the mutual benefit of people and planet. Concious materials and production methods are at the heart of its mission to provide high-quality design at accessible prices.
Reflecting its commitment to sustainability and responsibility - not just in its individual products, but in its entire business approach - TAKT has become one of few European design brands to be designated a B Corps, and is the only brand to consistently have all products certified with the EU Ecolabel used to certify that all stages of the production cycle meet the highest possible environmental standards.
Danish in character, global in scope, TAKT has developed a digital value chain that enables it to sidestep the intermediary stages of conventional furniture brands, allowing it to maintain a uniquely appealing balance of cost, craft and carbon reduction.
