Chemetal introduces four new Transparency designs and five new colors to its laser-cut collection of thicker metal designs. Chemetal designs and cuts these panels in-house. They’re different than the company’s standard metal designs, because they are on thicker aluminum; they don’t require a backer or substrate. Their transparency is what makes them so unique; they allow design professionals to craft design elements while keeping spaces visually open.
As significant as the new designs are the new Transparency colors. Five new metallic tones with a subtle shimmer are, in a way, nothing new to Chemetal. The colors - Clear, Black, Brass, Bronze, and Dark Bronze - represent color tones that have always been a significant part of Chemetal’s extensive collection of metal designs for interior spaces.
“We’re excited by these new designs,” said Chemetal Creative Director and President Geoff Schaefer, “and we’re comforted by the familiarity of the colors; they are true metal tones that are a natural and positive extension of the metal designs we’ve been offering to the design community for years.”
Transparency is available now in standard sheet sizes plus all kinds of custom sizes, pattern, and colors. Sheet size is .063” or .090” aluminum, and weigh between 25 and 35 LBS. Chemetal can help design and fabricate panels for walls and spaces. There’s even an optional frame system. These new designs are in addition to existing Transparency designs, growing this relatively new and popular Chemetal collection.
