Cassina Custom Interiors has collaborated with Technogym and Italian architect Giulia Foscari to create the Ottagono Wellness Gym, located at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the French Riviera. The gym is designed as a multifunctional octagonal space that can adapt to various uses. It features a lighting system that doubles as a floor lamp and includes dimmable, remote-controlled LEDs.
The Ottagono Gym serves as a compact home gym, looking like an elegant element when closed, but revealing essential training equipment upon opening. It includes Technogym's Connected Dumbells, adjustable kettlebells, resistance bands, mats, and a mirror, along with an integrated screen for enhanced wellness experiences. This innovative design is part of the hotel’s permanent offerings and emphasizes the fusion of art, design, and well-being. The concept of the gym emerged from a conversation between Foscari and her mother, highlighting its architectural significance as a versatile and functional piece of furniture that transforms according to its contents.
