Bold+ has launched the Bold Select™ Collection at NeoCon 2024.
Crafted in partnership with noted industrial designer Joey Ruiter, Bold Select presents a streamlined kit of parts that marries the familiarity of traditional systems with the flexibility of modular design. Central to the collection is its innovative and proprietary power and data distribution technology. From one to as many as 12 workstations can be powered by a single 15- or 20-amp wall outlet. This innovation eliminates the time and expense of professional electrical hard-wire connections with four-circuit power. It also allows designers and facility personnel complete freedom to choose where and how to configure workstations, creating greater space planning efficiency and real estate optimization.
All products in the line feature an elegant, modernist forward-thinking aesthetic, along with an unmatched level of material, color and finish options. The complete collection consists of three distinct desking options: a fixed-height A-frame table, a height-adjustable table with two leg choices, and a four-post Parson’s style table in a fixed or height-adjustable option. Three power and data distribution systems in either a wall, bench or screen option are available. Privacy options include an architectural gallery screen, a modesty screen and desks shrouds. A café table, a mobile pedestal storage option and a sprinter, a future-forward workspace pod, round out the line.

Offering complete freedom for customization, designers can select from 14 standard powder coat options for the desk and table frames, along with multiple surface options ranging from wood to solid surface in virtually any color. Workspace divider materials range from architectural gallery screens and PET to cork and multiple fabric choices. The collection’s array of mixed material options not only offers multiple design choices, but acoustic and productivity benefits as well. User personalization is achieved through a tackable surface, and a whiteboard surface enables quick team collaboration. A cable management and concealment system, along with optional drawers and storage solutions, allow for less clutter, better organized workspaces.
Bold Select offers several environmental advantages. Products in the collection are manufactured to SCS Gold certification standards, and its wood substrate materials meet FSC certification. Bold Select products also incorporate reclaimed powder coats and wood processing bi-products, and recycled steel and aluminum. Certain products contain sustainable cork components and recycled PET materials.
Its innovative power and data distribution system provides energy savings compared to traditional professionally installed electrical hard-wire connections, as does its AC/DC power boxes, which can be battery operated.
