Fräsch, a Catalyst Acoustics Group company specializing in innovative acoustical design and sustainable solutions, is thrilled to launch BLOOM, a collection of four sculptural acoustical lighting fixtures with unparalleled visuals. Resembling organic flower-like shapes, CYPRESS, FOXTAIL, TRUMPET, and ZINNIA complement both classic and modern interior design elements.
All BLOOM lit varieties are constructed by arranging fins of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) felt around a disk-shaped light fixture. The suspended LED lighting system is an attractive alternative to traditional fluorescent lighting, delivering an adequate light source for larger spaces with an aesthetically pleasing acoustical ceiling.
“The combination of design and dual functionality we offer with BLOOM makes it ideal for a variety of commercial applications,” said Slavka (Slavi) Nightingale, vice president of marketing and co-founder, Fräsch. “Acoustics can be boring, light fixtures can be boring; BLOOM combines lighting and sound abatement in exciting, modern, artistic visuals. We designed this with the A+D market in mind, knowing form and function are both critical in their interior projects.”
Made of 100% PET with 55% recycled content, BLOOM is offered in four eye-catching designs: CYPRESS, FOXTAIL, TRUMPET, and ZINNIA in diameters ranging from 24.5 to 51.5 inches. The variety of organic shapes and sizes provides endless options for creating statement-making arrangements. All BLOOM models are available in lit and non-lit versions, and ship with all necessary hardware for easy assembly and installation on-site.
