Fräsch has unveiled HEX, another innovative acoustic solution from its award-winning STRATAWOOD line. Fräsch is expanding its offering of the family of products with the addition of two hexagonal wall tiles. Each tile is 19.76” flat to flat wide, 22.82” peak to peak tall, and 0.87” thick.
HEX tiles are offered in four popular, design-forward wood grains: Light Oak, Dark Oak, Medium Walnut, and Grey Ash. All options come on a True Black Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) felt backer to provide superior acoustical performance that cannot be achieved with wood alone. Each piece is comprised of 9mm 100% PET with MDF wood veneer. The PET utilizes 55% post-consumer recycled content and is 100% recyclable. Wood components are FSC Chain of Custody certified.
The two distinct slat designs are a wide 120° rotated tri-pattern or a traditional vertical/horizontal-slim pattern. Installation of STRATAWOOD HEX is a snap: finish nail or screw tiles directly to any sheetrock wall.
“The original STRATAWOOD and STRATAWOOD 2x2 have both been major successes in the commercial market,” said Slavi Nightingale, Fräsch co-founder and vice president of marketing. “HEX allows for a bit more design creativity with the unique hexagon panels that comprise the collection. We look forward to seeing what layouts will be created with these new, beautiful wood acoustical wall tiles.”
