Humanscale Releases Float Mini Sit/Stand Desk

Humanscale is pleased to announce the launch of the brand's latest sit/stand desk, the Float Mini.

Re-imagined from the classic Float table, the Float Mini desk embodies Humanscale’s commitment to users’ ever-changing work style, encouraging movement with a tabletop that glides to a range of heights as well as the option for caster wheels. With a classic aesthetic combined with Humanscale’s world-class ergonomic designs, the Float Mini desk creates a compact solution, perfect for apartments and shared offices spaces alike.

The brand also made the product with sustainability in mind, not utilizing any harmful Red List chemicals, such as formaldehyde, even though these are standard in most other sit/stand desks. Humanscale chose to use bamboo for the work surface as opposed to traditional wood as the material takes less than 10 years to replenish, making it the more planet-friendly option. By comparison, the wood used in standard tops comes from old-growth forests, which can take up to 100 years to regrow.

The Float Mini provides a small space solution with a warm aesthetic that embodies Humanscale's goal of creating net positive products that leave the world better off.
