Inspired by the mid-20th century designs of modern Danish icons, Glyn Peter Machin designed the Karina guest chair to celebrate beautiful organic forms combined with superior craftsmanship - now launching in a new armless version. Each element of Karina Armless is carefully shaped: not one straight regular-cut component exists within the design of the chair. All elements flow effortlessly from leg to seat to backrest, making each chair appear to be a single molded entity—strong, yet almost weightless. The design is also defined by its exposed tenons, clean lines, lightweight construction, highly detailed curvaceous forms, and floating, finely tailored leather upholstery. Equally at home in the conference room or the dining room, Karina Armless is made with premium joinery and solid wood in HBF’s North Carolina factory.
