Carnegie Fabrics announces new Equilibrium collection

Carnegie Fabrics has announces its Equilibrium Collection — a visually stunning series that is PVC-free, low-VOC, finish-free, bleach cleanable, and made from recycled content. These advanced textures and patterns are created from an olefin composite and make a powerful impact in any room.

The inspiration for the Equilibrium collection is the balance and harmony that both humankind and nature work to achieve. Similar to how two confluent rivers flow to one or the strengths of one being balance another's, there is stability in togetherness. Connecting the natural forms and textures of our world and allowing us to reach a collective state of equilibrium, this wallcoverings collection celebrates the natural textures of our surroundings.

Carnegie Fabrics is steadfast in its commitment to sustainability. Each fabric in the Equilibrium collection either meets or exceeds the requirements of a Type II wallcovering under CCC-W-408D. They are RoHS & Reach compliant, California Proposition 65 compliant, are certified Water and Bleach Cleanable, and qualify for LEED indoor air quality credits.

“For more than seven decades, Carnegie has been at the forefront of sustainable innovation,” said Carnegie Fabrics CEO Gordon Boggis. “As the first and only manufacturer of PVC-free textile wall coverings, our launch of the Equilibrium collection further exemplifies Carnegie’s commitment to investing in materials that have reduced carbon footprints, avoid harmful finishes, and create positive impacts for both interior design and the health of our planet.”

The new wallcovering offerings include:
