During Milan Design Week in June, Foscarini debuted TONDA in a fascinating installation designed by Foscarini’s long-time collaborator Ferruccio Lavani. The geometric metal structure embraces and welcomes the sphere of the diffuser in blown glass with shading that shifts from opaline white to veiled transparency. Tonda comes from the present but reminds us of the past, as it’s interpreted by the elegance of Italian design experienced across the 1960s and 1970s.
TONDA is available in two sizes and has a metal suspension structure in white and orange.
