Kasthall Introduces Malm, A New Color-Way For Ålegræs, The Long-Pile Rug By Cecilie Manz From The Landskab Collection

Kasthall has introduced a new color-way called Malm for the Ålegræs rug designed by Cecilie Manz, part of the Landskab collection. This rug features a layered surface created by varying pile heights and blending different yarn types and tones. The Malm color is a deeper blue-grey with earthy undertones, providing a sense of weight and anchoring, ideal for creating an enveloping atmosphere in darker interiors. Ålegræs is crafted in Sweden using wool and linen, resulting in a soft topography that subtly shifts over time, enhanced by linen threads that add a slight sheen. Cecilie Manz describes Malm as adding depth to the collection, making it suitable for solid grounding in sturdy spaces.
