Kirei Unveils the Polygon Cloud, a Revolutionary New Spin on the Fan-Favorite EchoStar+
The Polygon Cloud, the latest key product in Kirei’s Tessellate Collection, offers a 180-degree difference in sound control and style, bringing a new dimension to thoughtful ceiling design with acoustics in mind.
The Polygon Cloud revolutionizes the company’s popular EchoStar+ design with concave and convex style options and can be installed individually or in clusters to create dynamic shapes and patterns. Its joiners are made from PET, the same material as the product, making the cloud a lighter lift for easier installation. Polygon Clouds can be installed between lofted floors or as stairwell centerpieces for a statement that looks just as visually stunning from above as below.
"When designing the Polygon Cloud, we wanted to create something that was not only a great acoustic solution but also a piece of art that offers a fresh perspective on what acoustic design can be," explains Michael DiTullo, an independent designer and creative director of the Tessellate Collection. "The Polygon Cloud is a perfect fit within the Tessellate Collection, reflecting our goal of giving designers new ways to think about space and sound.”
The Polygon Cloud is crafted from Class A Fire Rated 12mm PET felt panels made from 60% post-consumer recycled PET with numerous environmental certifications, including Declare Label (Red List Free), HPD, EPD, and Low-VOC to help projects easily earn LEED and WELL credits. As part of the Tessellate Collection from Kirei, the Polygon Cloud is one of five new acoustic products that transforms recycled PET felt into unique and visually stunning pieces that make a bold statement in any room.
The Polygon Cloud can be custom printed with Kirei Ink, Kirei’s latest custom design printing service. Kirei Ink allows designers to deliver endless customization possibilities, from the natural beauty of botanicals to subtle or striking stonework. Customers can choose from more than 50 prints across Kirei Ink’s four collections or print their own custom color, pattern, graphic, or material onto the products.
