Is Your Storage Standing Up to Student Use?
With school back in full swing, it’s time to evaluate if the furniture in educational spaces can withstand the rigorous daily wear-and-tear that occurs with student use. Artcobell offers heavy-duty mobile storage that is flexible and multifunctional, particularly its options from the Maker Space collection.
Ken Taylor, Artcobell’s Director of Engineering, is also a dad to three children, so he certainly knows what it takes to make product that will stay strong amongst students. He and his team of engineers know first-hand how kids treat classroom furniture.
“Here at Artcobell we understand the importance of maximizing space in educational facilities in addition to making sure the products used are durable and can last,” said Alison DeMartino, director of marketing. “With schools managing budget constraints and working more with less, we always seek to provide multi-faceted and trustworthy furniture solutions. Maker Space storage solutions have stood the test of time—and busy students.”
Maker Space Cubbies are available in two-column and three-column configurations providing six or nine individual spaces for storing backpacks, lunch boxes, and supplies. Locking Door Kits are also available for cubbies in all sizes. Additionally, the cabinet can dually serve as a learning space with the option of writable surface doors and customized peg boards.
Maker Space Tray Cabinets come with built-in rails that accept tote trays in three sizes: 3", 6", and 12" heights. They can be arranged with a two-column setup in 30" or 42" heights or a three-column setup in a 42" height. Locking Door Kits are available for all sizes. The tote trays can be moved to student desks during the day and locked in the cabinets after learning hours.
