Leland Takes Gemma Collection to New Heights, Introduces Work-Height Tables

Leland, a manufacturer of furniture for the work and home, recently introduced work-height tables to the Gemma Collection. Ideal for cafés, light work or small huddle rooms the new tables introduce a new flare to the series—greeting people with a warm demeanor and residential appeal.

The announcement comes right on the heels of some notable industry recognition. Gemma recently won a Metropolis Likes award at Neocon, and the Gemma table was also a finalist for the NYCxDesign awards, which honors outstanding products and projects in categories that span major areas of design.

Created by Altherr Désile Park for Leland, the Gemma Collection was created from a broader desire to open a new path for Leland, keeping mid-century American values of optimism, expressiveness, and industrial experimentation as a foundation, while looking towards the future.

“Gemma tables were designed to create a domesticated and warm alternative to typical technical contract tables.” -- Altherr Désile Park, Creator of the Gemma Collection

The new work-height tables are available in round, square and soft rectangular shapes, with two different base styles—solid wood leg or a metal totem base. Discrete wire management and a height-adjustable option round out the functional requirements for contract spaces, without losing the welcoming appeal.
