Federica Biasi designs Kokoro Working Box for Manerba

Realised by Italian product designer and art director Federica Biasi, the new Kokoro Working Box by Manerba is designed to provide maximum acoustic comfort for staff in open-plan offices or lively coworking spaces.

Providing a quiet place where employees can work in harmony, the capsule working box was created with modularity and freedom in mind, and is perfectly designed for the return to the office.

Made using high quality materials, such as birch plywood, fireproof polyurethane and sound absorbing fabrics, the piece complements Manerba’s Kokoro range which comprises a system of sofas, desks and tables, all designed by Biasi.

Its soft shapes help create a sense of intimacy, welcoming people inside the working box, while clever design details like metal hooks for coats and storage shelves for books and objects, provides users with a sense of freedom to add personal touches and design the space as they wish to use it.

Established in Mantua in 1969, Manerba is an Italian family company which focuses on office design. With an 80% female team and production focused on sustainability, Manerba is widely known for its forward-thinking approach and expertise in the commercial design industry.

In addition to providing support to architects and interior designers on various architectural ventures, the company also works on bespoke projects globally.
