Reimagine the workplace of today with ReFit from DeskMakers
DeskMakers, a manufacturer of tables and workstations for commercial environments, presents ReFit, a versatile collection of post-COVID office furniture solutions designed to support safety and comfort in today’s workplace.
“Rather than simply re-marketing our current offering, we took a creative approach to develop solutions for the “new” workplace and new way of working.” said Shaina Panzer, director of product development for DeskMakers. “We wanted to develop versatile solutions that support both short- and long-term workplace changes. Refit is designed to address these new workplace challenges, including new product needs, rotating team schedules and a staggered return of the workforce.”
Designed by the DeskMakers Rapid Response Team, ReFit is comprised of three categories: Above Surface Solutions, Mobile Space Division, and Adaptable Division. The entire collection can be used to quickly retrofit an existing space, with minimal installation and shortened lead times.
Free-standing or surface-mounted 18- and 24-inch height privacy screens can be quickly and easily secured above an existing work surface to serve as a barrier between seats. Available in clear, frosted, or smoked acrylic, screens are easy to clean and sanitize while also maintaining team visibility.
Mobile dividers are presented with or without four locking casters that swiftly move into place. Available in multiple surface options - Acrylic, laminate, dry-erase material, or PET - mobile dividers provide privacy and protection from others nearby, and work to aesthetically define a space while also providing acoustical advantages. End-users can select from a variety of heights and widths to suit their needs.
With a few simple updates to existing furniture systems, adaptable dividers can help safeguard a team while also saving on costs. Acrylic, laminate, or glass panels attach to existing systems to provide both division and height, and end-users are able to select from a variety of colors and sizes to efficiently fit their space.
With design-flexibility at the core of the company’s design ethos, DeskMakers will continue to develop additional products that support workplace distancing requirements while maintaining a safe and productive environment.
